Well, I know this is "supposed" to be a bodybuilding board, but if you want to think for one second that Meth alone can't or will not kill you, you are sadly mistaken.
I grew up in the trucking industry.
Many of the drivers that were having the time of their lives hustlin' up and the down the highways and doin their speed, well, they are gone now. Their kids are grown, wives had already left them, and these guys would have been my age now. Much like Gh15 stated, they left me alone out there. They originally ran circles around me, and then they got slower and slower and eventually slept more than they drove. They could do a bag and eat and then sleep. Sure, many of them smoked also, but the point is that THE DRUG CONSUMED THEIR LIVES. In the beginning they wouldn't eat or sleep for days.
Ultimately it was the Meth that killed them. I don't really care what "kind" it was, and in they end, neither did they.
I've never really seen a drug so addicting in the respect that it tears someone down to nothing very quickly, it makes them delusional, they become mental, they lose everything, not just monetarily, but their self-respect, and they STILL CAN'T QUIT!
The women? That drug takes its toll on them even faster. It can make a 25 year old female look 60 in about a year or so.
Nasty drug. I just sat back and watched. There was nothing I could do. The things that came out of their mouths were so far fetched there was no use in responding or hanging around them. Besides, they were always paranoid. Very paranoid.
You don't meet too many "ex" meth-heads. They don't seem to make it very far in this life.
I don't think it's just *bodybuilders* that are weak minded... it's people
