The dude abides.

these threads are funny...

I liken them to someone who has never done cocaine telling you what it feels like to do cocaine....because they know people who do coke.

I don't care if you don't want kids, want to be an athiest, vegan etc.....

Just don't fucking push it on me, or try to convince me one way is better than the other, or that you're smarter than me because of your beliefs.

It's all subjective, to each his own.

X2.

To me it always seems like the more strongly people are willing to argue a point the more they're trying to convince themselves.

So what you're saying, is that you need to try all of this to find out if it makes you happy?

I have a buddy who doesn't want kids. He told me, he asked his wife, "do you want everything, or do you want kids?"  The fact is, it's a personal decision, and the shitty thing is, most of the people who don't want them, should be the ones procreating. Adonis et al seem to be intelligent people, and their DNA should be passed on, not dumbfucks like these trailer and ghetto trash humans. I am financially and mentally stable, have a kid, and still do what I want. I'm going to Europe for 17 days this Christmas, bringing my kid, and my mom as a babysitter. I will do this every other year, as I want my kids to be cultured.

Life is about being happy, and not being a dick to others. Whichever your choice, it's obviously the one for you, and that's good.

They for you programmed too, huh?
I have friends who are married, with kids...yes, there is a struggle, as it probably was with your parents. But, you see the pride in their faces---baby's first steps, first words, learns how to read, their grades, etc. I marvel at what my parents have passed down to me, and I see what my friends are passing to their children.

There is no such thing as "having it all", just seems like code for being selfish, spoiled, and greedy...I wonder what this is a product of...of which generation...hmmm.

By the way, there is an attack on men, thru the media, thru our society. Whether they be black, white, Latino, or Asian. And the woman who benefits, well she's the one who has been placed on a pedestal the whole time...

Agree whole-heartedly with that last paragraph, though I'm not sure how it relates to the subject at hand.

I've been a Christian since 1998, and I never wanted kids up until a few weeks ago. I'm still not sold on the idsa, but I think He's telling me to leave the option on the table. Time will tell.

The voices in your head are telling you to have kids?  What does it say exactly?

So why don't you two kill yourselves, and help solve this problem. it doesn't matter how old you are, resources are resources. be a team player, and step aside so someone else can live, if you are so concerned.

Do you mean here in the west? Because it really isn't in western civilized societies. Actually, it's under-population.

The "heat-affected zones" are in the eastern parts of the world and in Africa. Regarding the western world, most over population growth is caused by less successful people, as Irongrip already pointed out. The U.S. might have a moderate population density, but the situation is different here in the Netherlands (comparable with Japan and Singapore).
