Just watch our own Soul Crusher, he never had to rob a bank to get where he is at now, he just did a Goruck and then joined a Mets-game and look at him now.

i love it, but 2pac is dead, suge knight is broke living in vegas pimping a ugly white girl.
there is no death row.
but yes at the time money was flowing.

I believe you can make it big without working hard, just need to work smarter and not harder.

i feel like the harder and smarter you work

the more work is being put on you

but salary remains the same

so what is the purpose

to get a "good job" from some rich manager and a tap on the back

Once upon a time, yes. The CEO of the first company I worked for out of college (manufacturing, I was a staff accountant) had worked his way from the janitor to EVP of Johnson & Johnson.

I agree.  Personal freedom is the highest form of fulfillment and success and should be the goal that all men strive for.

You just described my life from 25 to 35 years of age. Yes I hated my job for the most part, but the pay kept me there. Some people play dumb and less is put on / expected of them. I had to draw the line, stop all the overtime and extra projects. Eventually moved to a better company. The first thing you want to ask yourself is what type of mobility do you have  in the job? I make less now but am much happier.

When I started in my field in 1987 I made $17K year.

I now make just over $100K.  Switching companies and getting large salary bumps helps.

I wouldn't call $100K "livin large", but no wife and no kids allows me to pretty much do whatever I want, when I want, how I want.  A married man can never say/do that.

Helps to have talent and or intelligence/ business acumen, with a little luck thrown in! Clearly you have none of these!

Justin Bieber has talent. Justin Bieber then relied on that talent, and some auto tune. Justin Bieber arrives late to concerts and still gets paid. Justin Bieber spits on fans and still gets paid. Justin Bieber races his car thru neighborhoods and still gets paid. Justin Bieber smokes a ton of marijuana and still gets paid in more marijuana.

Do you need more examples?

being your own boss is the start of many successes

never having to bow down to other lesser men

shooting roids in your own office with no one to criticise you

taking female employees on based solely on their looks

Yes, but frugality and savings is more important.  I figure I'll work 10 more years, retire, move back to Cali, buy a house with no mortgage and live like a king.

These days working really hard at a job doesn't mean you "make it big", these days it means you might not get fired so quickly.

Your best bet is to be  sales, as your hustle determines how much you make, and you don't have to kiss ass. If you're bringing in money, your boss will like you no matter what.
