a low fat diet where most of the carbs come from raw fruit, pairs, red and green apples, bananas , strawberries. i like to fry my plantains

i eat alot of brocollie fried before bed with little amount of oil i add in some soy sausage it has no fat but tons of taste

i may throw back a scoop of soy protien with fructose carbs in it 1 or 2 times a day

i get good sleep have tons of energy

i had to pretty much cut out peanutbutter, i was eating too much of that shit before like half jar a day atleast

sure its healthy but its impossible to muster up the energy needed to burn it off by the end of the day to the point where you caloric range IS not in a surplus. unless your job is to run on a treadmill all day, it isnt practical

that calorie is just a calorie bullshit diet only works when you dont want energy and your lifestyle is just sitting around all day at work and then you have your workout. i can see that diet working in that scenario

but if you want energy all day u need the 80c-10p-10f diet

I dont follow any diet, but when I look at what I eat, it mostly seems like Mediterranean diet. (Italy).

Fish, salads, chicken, olive oil, wine, little bit of heme iron meat (very little), some beer, eggs...

salads first, with olives, feta, olive oil dressing, tuna fish...

The some chicken (once a week red meat) on weekends, 2 cheat days. Beer, Wine, Pizza Wings...

Start over on MON... Not a bodybuilder (its too gay) and I like to eat.

i forgot to mention ill probably have a sliced very thinly a sweet potatoe and a regular white potato too

very little oil on it and baked

lets see i had 2 green apples 1 banana 1 red apple 1 red pair 1 white potato 1sweet potato , 1 tiny bowl of cereal, 2 protien scoops , 2 cans of feild peas 600 calories so far today and morning star chicken nuggets dipped in bbq sauce 500 calories (this is my treat)

I heard apple cider vinegar is good for that but I don't know...

that sucks problems with the ear can be excruciating, i had water in my ear from swimming damn that was painful

also when i smoked weed i had so much ear wax in one ear i went deaf for a few days

anyways back to your problem, just eat healthy to make sure your not contributing to the problem in any way

definitly try some sort of medicated ear drops

if you eat less cals you'll feel better. im not talking eating 2k cal i mean a real cal deficit.

we overeat. then we have a tendency to blame the foods or types of foods for the way we 'feel' when in fact its the amounts of food we are eating.

eat your peanut butter and whatever else you like and keep your cals around 1200 for three days. you'll notice a huge difference in your energy levels, and your mental wellbeing.

Would you mind expanding on this?

I've noticed the same thing, I feel much more 'light' and energetic when i fast or consume very little calories.  Digestion is a big chunk of our BMR and if our digestive tract doesnt have much to do, that should (theoretically) free up energy for other activities

sure.

the body needs surprisingly little calories for fuel.  what we do is overfeed it. thats what makes us sluggish.

think of this. communal buddhist monks eat very little food. spartan diets. they work in fields all day/ farm. then they meditate. how? wheres their energy come from. from their body becoming ultra efficient at using the calories it gives them, as opposed to piling on fat with them, and shitting it out. think about how many unnecessary cals it would take for the body to accumulate fat, and still have waste. no wonder people are tired all the time.

have you ever noticed you become slightly depressed some days? im not talking mentally. just lazy, distant, uncommunicative, withdrawn, and tired? people say oh its just the weather, oh i havent had my coffee. then think about how much you ate the day before, not the foods persay or types of foods but your entire caloric intake for that day.

you'll be amazed and shocked to see a distinct correlation between the amount of cals you ingested the day before, and your mood/ energy the next day if you track it. higher cals= depressed mood. in fact a lot of people who go to their docs for anti depressants would never think to look at their food intake, not the TYPES but the amounts as the basis for their depression.

in fact i'll go one step further and venture to guess that what aids a monks meditative state is the fact they eat very little food.

I get the impression that whatever crazy diet your on at any given time, you have a tendency to overeat. You'd be surprised at how little food it takes to sustain life and produce enough energy to work and even exercise and stay in shape. For example, peanut butter is fine to eat, especially unadulterated peanut butter and not the brands with added sugar like Skippy, as long as you keep to sensible portions and vary your diet so you're not just eating peanut butter.

I eat very little and I have loads of energy all the time. For people who struggle with obesity, a calorie is a calorie. Calories from sugars, whether natural or refined are great short term energy producers, but they also have a downside, which is low energy when the sugar high wears off.

I am not advocating starving oneself to lose weight because that simply won't work. Eventually, you'll cave to cravings and the abundance available to fill them. When you do, your body stores fat because you've taught it that there will be feast and famine. Better to eat sensibly all the time. Lots of vegetarians accomplish this and with loads of energy to carry on a normal life.

Some of us are meat eaters. I am one of those folks. I am not going to give it up. This doesn't mean I think you should go back to it either.
