My biggest problem is in my head. I like to train heavy or at least as heavy as i can for my age. Just last week I got a 525lb squat. I'm sure over the years since my training has drastically changed from bodybuilding, Isolating bodyparts, etc to training powerlifting and just in the last few years, strongman, my body composition has changed. I still have abs but also developed what I call a "Power Belly". Chest is stronger but not as thick because I don't train for volume. As an example.
thank you coach for acknowledging this ,,,i see your 80's build as the 80's epitome of what was going on in those wght classes back then, its the highest compliment i could give you ,you actually appeared taller as you are as well by the leaness and asthetic look you had'flow',,you developed a powerbber's look now as u mentioned and a natural thickness over time will occur but still keeping one's past look think richard baldwin/doug brignole looks today...i hope u nail it this yr and if u have to 'gut it out' to get there u have to cause all of the others guys are going to for it to.you have thickness to win need deep sick condition, and i think by now u have some extremes your not willing to do thats cool too..
