Yes indeed. If he's going after the black vote, he needs to do it in a way that won't lose much of the white vote. He could have chosen a million other famous black guys to spend time with that day.

Most whites AND blacks hate Sharpton. Many blacks openly state that "he doesn't speak for the black community".

Anyone right of center has ZERO chance of garnering the black vote. Predictable as Father's Day confusion. Why even waste the effort?

No chance. His views on drugs and his anti-war mongering do not endear him to big government repugs.

How exactly does one monger against war?

The meltdown continues.

Team Rand now firing off cease-and-desist letters to local TV stations...

Rand Paul has had a bad week. It was supposed to be a great week – the “different kind of Republican” who is also “the most interesting man in Washington” finally became an official candidate for president! But ever since he made his candidacy official, Rand has been stepping on rakes and putting out fires. He snapped at a pair of reporters and lectured them on the proper procedure for interviewing Rand Paul. He got defensive on Iran and abortion and explained his peevishness away by acknowledging that he has a temper. At this point, Rand is probably eager for Hillary to get in the race just so reporters will have something else to talk about.

Now comes word that Team Rand has fired off cease-and-desist letters to local TV stations warning them to stop running an ad attacking their candidate’s position on the Iranian nuclear negotiations. The ad in question is from a group called the Foundation for a Secure and Prosperous America. The Paul campaign argues that the group’s commercial “attempts to deceive voters regarding Senator Rand Paul’s position on U.S.-Iran relations through at least three false statements.”

Hardworking people in general (largely white, of course) with jobs or small businesses who do not feel guilty about whatever success they've achieved, do not feel that they're better off with big govt taking over private industries and making all of their decisions for them, and do not believe they should be taxed more and more to finance middle class lifestyles for the growing number of "poor".

I can do without the religious references, and the abortion and gay marriage stuff. Otherwise, he's right on.

I have to tell you, you know, it's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Ted Cruz's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often.
