His trainer was working with him for 10 years and he didn't tell Barry what the "supplements he was taking? Barry never asked? His trainer only worked with Jason Giambi for a few months but he told Giambi what his "supplements" consisted of. How can that be "realer"? McGuire just pleaded the 5th he didn't lie. Bonds lied straight out.

He's gained maybe 50-60 lb. Barely looks like the same person. The "vitamins" seemed to parallel the downward spiral in attitude as well, looked far less cynical early on.

Mgwire never came clean about all the shit he was taking either. "i'm not here to talk about the past" was bullshit,plain and simple. McGwire implicitly lied by not telling the truth when in front of the committee on capitol hill. He took a pass when he could have at least spoke on his own behalf. I don't know about you, but if I'm innocent, I'm sure as hell not going to plead the 5th. That is the same as lying.

Exactly right. but someone like me doesn't give a crap whether you are a nice guy or not. I think bonds is a douchebag too, but he is (was) the best hitter in the game by far.
