"Why do i get up everyday? Maybe you're asking the wrong person, you might not want to know. Me, i've got to pay the bills. I'm not talking water and power, i'm talking the grocery and the gym membership. I do this because i enjoy the pain, i do it because pain is the way i live. Nobody understands the pain i need daily and they know tofu isn't going to make you grow. I get up because i need the pain, i need to feel the animal deep inside me. I nedd to squat something, i have to press something. If i don't, why the f**k am i getting up? I'm not going to sit in some cube all day sipping my cappucinno, i've got two freaking gallons of water to suck down and a straw isn't going to help. I don't have time to pedal a bike, that guy is bigger than i am. It's time to suck it up bitch, for me it's every morning at 4:20, just hearing the Animal in me saying, "get your shit together and get your ass out of bed, that steak isn't cooking itself, there is no other way than the Animal", hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that was actually one of the letters that some of these clowns write in with you should read some of them they're hilarious it seems like the one common theme in all of them is that they all wake up at four in the morning and they all wear an Animal Pak Skull cap in the gym.

As cheezy as it might seem to the seasoned bodybuilder, those ANIMAL ads do inspire "wanna bees" or the serious NPC athlete. You guys are probly right about the writer of those columns though, he probly is some dorky dude with a fat bank account. He is probly just writing about the things he will never have enough heart to do himself. You have to love the Iron to wake up at 4:20am and ask why am I here?

very true, i'm just trying to picture these guys walking out of their one bedroom apartments with no lights, no gas, no running water, with a torn tank top, an Animal Pak skull cap, sweats and a gym bag the size of a mini cooper at 4 in the morning and taking a bus to the gym.
