Howard.
Drugs are a part of this game.
I suppose you could play it straight, but the rewards aren't nearly as fullfilling.
If you know you made the majority of your gains because of a pill you took, how rewarding is that? I took a cycle in 94' for 2 months, put on 40lbs...mainly bloat and felt ok, but knew it was the drugs that gave me those gains. My diet and workout regiment was the same. Where is the great stride I took, other than sticking my ass with a needle?
The past few years I've been able to gain 60lbs of muscle naturally. Even if it were 20lbs, the reward to me is much greater knowing it was all me who gained that muscle and not a pill.
Lastly, the majority of drug users are unhappy and lead screwed up lives. Rarely do hear someone clean saying, "Hmm...maybe I should consider giving drugs a try because this clean living is really wearing on me?" Drugs create the illusion of happiness, which is why most do them. I feel bad for people who do drugs on a regular basis, especially the harder ones. I know of people who died because of an OD, etc. In the end, the families are stuck with a life of grief for that persons selfish actions. It's a shame.
I'm not talking about weed so much, mainly harder drugs. Even so, to smoke on a regular basis just to function or feel normal, seems like a waste as well. If you can't be happy with just yourself, that's also sad. Getting stone was fun in high school, grow up. haha
