Annoying. self-serve isn't always a good idea when it requires decision making, or multiple steps. If you think the McD employees suck at their job, imagine the average inbred Trump voter from the street, trying to place a complex order at that same register.
Agreed. The minimum wage increase may have sped this process up, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. It was just a matter of time.
I'm in my walmart 2 or 3 times a week and have never seen that happen at self checkout. Old and dumb people use smart phones all day long, this won't be some big problem like you're making it out to be.
Id say out of all the fastfood places, its probably the "best" and "cleanest."
Wendy's is one of the best. The beef is flat griddled and never frozen and is always cooked to order. I recommend getting the triple cheeseburger, the largest burger they have. Actually that is my recommendation for all fast food or hamburger places. Order the biggest burger you can get with the most meat to bun ratio. Wendy's has a good triple.

Yup. In 'n' Out is excellent too with staff that are well mannered and paid better than average for being so. QT Gas stations are the same. They pay above average wages for above average people. Clean restrooms and a great staff go a long way toward making customers repeat customers.
^^^^Disney looks to cut costs at all corners despite making billions off their parks, movies, tv presence, etc. They are a worthless company to work for. Greed to the highest level. Walt Disney is probably rolling in his grave.

I hardly eat fastfood, but if I do, I eat at Wendys or Chipotle. I don't know, Wendys just "feels" healthier than Burger or McDonalds. But I may just be telling myself that to justify eating Wendys.

Seriously though, how worthless can a company be that was founded based on the American dream and American values to send all of it's software development and IT to India. It's basically giving a middle finger to your history and core values because you're greedy.

I've seen a few of these at some Jack-In-The-Box restaurants. I much prefer a person though.
mcdonalds in Australia has had these for ages. You can still line up if you want and order to a person but the kiosks is way easier especially since they have the build your own burger option there too.Surely this will all be done via a phone app before too long though won't it?
