What's Eastern Europe like these days?

Bucharest was nice... I had no problems, but as with any location. If you stay in certain areas, you're better off.

I'd rather be there than Sao Paulo, Brazil myself. I made sure I had a co-worker go everywhere with me there. Bucharest I didn't feel I needed to be with a group or anything.

Although, to be fair, I was in Sao Paulo like last year, and Bucharest has been a few years now. Probably 2012 when I was last there.

Generally, I find women from Southern parts of Europe more friendy and easier to approach. They make more eye contact and smile more often.
But you're right, all women have their bitchy sides as well
