Tom Never did a seminar on how to develop upper body. I mean with so much knowledge and being as eloquent as he is.  :)

I cant be doing with all that fucking screaming and shouting, its just not required at all.

By his own words hes a failure in teh gym
He claims you always have 5 more reps left no matter where you are, if that was true he wouldnt ever stop a set.

The man is my earliest muscle inspiration.

However, I've come to consider much of his training approaches to be ill-advised, unnecessary and, indeed, harmful.

Tom's willpower and focussed intensity is frightening, but I think he fails to acknowledge how the anabolics essentially saved his ass from perpetual burnout. Measured and athletically tactical he was/is not.

Still, Platz rules, and his legend is assured. Fantastic guy. True iron warrior.

Met Tom on a couple occasions and went to one of his seminars. He talked about his "famous" 1982 Olympia cycle which consisted of winny and deca of which the doses wouldn't have been high enough a for woman tennis player. lol Well maybe it would but point is it was low very low.

Looks like absolute shit for only being 62 years old. Plus he rambles on and on about absolute nonsense. Sounds like he enjoys hearing himself talk even though he makes no sense when he speaks. Would not see him in person if I was paid to do so. He is a legend however, for breaking the barrier in leg development, light years ahead of everyone in his prime.

Before him, nobody had feathered cross striations on their lateralus- nobody. After people saw his, we ALL knew it was possible and we all trained with that in mind. It worked.

An absolute bodybuilding legend and super hero. Insane? It does not matter.

One thing that never gets talked about is that platz was the first guy to train each muscle only once a week most of the time.
