Speaking only for myself, it's gotten much better. I haven't had two jobs simultaneously in about five years, because no one was offering weekend-only work that paid what I expected based on my background. The best available was either in retail or hospitality, with variable hours and low pay that depended on tips. Now I'm on salary during the week and making decent hourly on weekends. That position only opened up in the last 3 months, due to the company's increasing revenue as they expand outside the area. The other job is a pilot project as well, which wasn't possible until recently because they didn't have the sales volume to justify launching it.
Overall, I'm very happy with how things are going under Trump from an economic standpoint.
I'm happy for you. From what you just posted one might gather that you weren't employed or you were underemployed until Trump set it up for you.
Lucky me, during my entire working life, I never needed to work on the weekends because my full-time job covered all my expenses, paid my health benefits and fully funded my retirement benefits. Before retirement, I only earned four weeks vacation and twelve days paid sick leave a year. Now I'm on permanent paid vacation. I retired nine years ago in 2009 when the economy was just starting to pickup, thanks to President Obama. Presently, my retirement income is higher than my income was at retirement. Like you, I can't complain.
