You must not be American. Infants are vaccinated beginning at birth and receive more than a dozen vaccinations before their first birthday. If they can’t be vaccinated before then, why are their infant bodies being bombarded with vaccines and other chemicals at such a young age?

Not sure what my nationality has to do with anything but the topic of this thread is measles and the vaccine for it, which can't be administered until 12 months of age

CDC recommends that children get two doses: the first dose at 12 through 15 months of age, and the second dose before entering school at 4 through 6 years of age.

I'm not going to get into the argument of pro or anti vaccine. The problem is when the propaganda

Long time reader, 10+ years. Finally a thread I want to participate in and hopefully learn more on this topic.

Just had baby and did a ton of research on vaccines and along with my wife decided not to vaccinate our son for at least a few years if ever.

Vaccines are a must on a global scale and their benefit outweighs any negatives, on a large scale, just like GMOs are a great way to feed the ever growing population despite possibly having unforeseen effects on ones health.

Over the next few days I'll share some of my findings that helped me decide to not vaccinate my child.

Slightly under $1 per dose paid out to injury, small price to pay, but you wont hear this in the news. In fact congress recently voted against advertising and bringing awareness to the vaccine court. Vaccine court wanted to do ads, congress denied, and I can see why, for the greater good

Recently the CDC started recommending pregnant women get the TDAP vaccine to hopefully (scientifically unproved from a vaccine )  pass along pertussis (whooping cough) immunity to the fetus (this has not been scientifically demonstrated with a vaccine but does happen with the actual infection)

Seems harmless? Except that it is illegal to test vaccines on pregnant women and the vaccines are recommended without any kind of safety testing on pregnant women, just the general population. When the FDA was asked to vote on the issue of testing vaccines on pregnant women, they stuck with their decision to keep it illegal, but vaccines that are approved for the general public can be recommended to pregnant women without specific testing.

Our doctor pushed the vaccine almost every visit, but she had to choice but to follow what the guidelines say to do

An interesting thing that could be related to this Portland measles outbreak is that there is a huge measles outbreak in Ukraine and Georgia (country not state) in areas close to secret USA Biological research facilities.

Very likely that this measles strain/outbreak leaked from one of those facilities. Russians are investigating:

Before the measles vaccine, the disease killed over 2 million annually worldwide.  Today it kills about 100,000.
In contrast, today the flu kills up to 500,000 annually worldwide.

Agree that the vaccine is needed on a global scale but with current diet and lower rates of malnutrition, deaths would be greatly reduced. A healthy, well nourished child or adult is very unlikely to experience complications or death. most of those problem stem from malnutrition which was common back in the day, and today shit countries still face malnutrition and high death rates.

last I checked this outbreak in the USA had over a 100 people sick , with only 1 hospitalized and now recovered. Good nutrition/no starvation = your immune system fights this off no problem.

So? Nobody has ever claimed the death rate is 100%, the death rate is 2 in 1000. But if you have thousand of hundred of cases, you get hundreds of deaths.
