Before the measles vaccine, the disease killed over 2 million annually worldwide.  Today it kills about 100,000.
In contrast, today the flu kills up to 500,000 annually worldwide.

"Measles is a highly contagious, serious disease caused by a virus. Before the introduction of measles vaccine
in 1963 and widespread vaccination, major epidemics occurred approximately every 2–3 years and measles
caused an estimated 2.6 million deaths each year."

https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/measles

The vaccine works.  That the disease doesn't kill all that commonly or that your experience was mild is no reason to
ignore the benefits of the vaccine.  2 million X 55 (years) is greater than the combined population of Canada,
Poland, Australia, and Belgium.

Good information. Thanks.

Is there any scientific proof of a link between autism and childhood vaccinations? Has anyone ever looked into other possible ASD causes. Most of the food we eat has been adulterated with chemicals and preservatives. Could not these be linked to an increase in autism, (if there actually is one)? ASD and Asperger syndrome mostly affects males, why is that?

Does the government give everyone vaccinations? I did not know that. For some reason, I thought doctors and now pharmacies did this.

The government (CDC) tells them what vaccines to give and the government creates the vaccine schedule with the help of big pharma on their advisory boards

Recent studies (all CDC funded) do not show a link between vaccines and Autism. These studies happened as damage control after some third party research said there might be a link, CDC had to reassure parents that there is no link.

But I'm curios if there was a strong link what would the government do? Discontinue vaccinations and face a surge in vaccine preventable diseases or somehow keep it quite and fund a dozen studies showing there is no link. Seems obvious what they would have to do, Autism is far less prevalent than vaccine preventable diseases.

Here is a link to the MMR vaccine insert, reading it is pretty scary, everyone should read the vaccine inserts before getting a vaccine

https://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_circulars/m/mmr_ii/mmr_ii_pi.pdf

M-M-R II has not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or potential to impair fertility.

Pregnancy
Animal reproduction studies have not been conducted with M-M-R II. It is also not known whether
M-M-R II can cause fetal harm when administered to a pregnant woman or can affect reproduction
capacity.
Therefore, the vaccine should not be administered to pregnant females; furthermore, pregnancy
should be avoided for 3 months following vaccination

Safety and effectiveness of measles vaccine in infants below the age of 6 months have not been
established
(see also CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY). Safety and effectiveness of mumps and rubella
vaccine in infants less than 12 months of age have not been established.

Following vaccination in children, reactions in joints are uncommon and generally of brief duration. In
women, incidence rates for arthritis and arthralgia are generally higher than those seen in children
(children: 0-3%; women: 12-26%)
,{17,56,57} and the reactions tend to be more marked and of longer
duration. Symptoms may persist for a matter of months or on rare occasions for years.

In severely immunocompromised individuals who have been inadvertently vaccinated with measlescontaining vaccine; measles inclusion body encephalitis, pneumonitis, and fatal outcome as a direct
consequence of disseminated measles vaccine virus infection have been reported

I'm not much for these types of government conspiracy theories. However, your question is intriguing. It would make for a good science fiction movie or book plot. Another question to consider is, what if the public knew for certain that there was a connection between vaccinations and autism? Would parents risk their childrens' health for the sake of the very rare chance they might develop autism from inoculations?

One way for science to narrow down the causes of autism would be to study the incidence of signs of it in infants who have yet to receive all the vaccinations. Unfortunately, vaccinations commence shortly after birth. The recommended first DTaP shot is at 2 months of age. Another way is to research other possible contributors to the condition, such as the additives in the food we eat.

Signs that your baby may have autism
1. No social smiling. ...
2. Lack of eye contact. ...
3. Not responding to their name. ...
4. No social anticipation or Peek-A-Boo. ...
5. Poor visual tracking. ...
6. Lack of social babbling. ...
7. Fixation on unusual objects.

Fluoridated water has been a concern too. Too much fluoride over a long time period may cause skeletal fluorosis. But, how much is too much? If it is in our drinking water as well as the toothpaste and mouthwashes we use and you add fluoride treatments at the dentist, how do you know you're not overdoing it and therefore running the risk of bad side effects. In areas of naturally occurring fluoride in the ground water, such as it is in parts of Asia, skeletal fluorosis is more common.

I'm glad my local municipal utility district does not fluoridate water but that's a whole different topic. Lots of stuff is bad for us but at least we have the freedom to choose what bad stuff we expose ourselves to for the most part. Who knows what all those electromagnetic waves will do to us, Heck I have 3 wifi routers blasting 2.4ghz and 5ghz waves in the house. Who knows what kind of effect this will have in 20+ years of non stop exposure.

We already know living near high powered power lines causes all kinds of health problems, lower powered waves can't be too good either.

If vaccinations were effective and actually worked, parents of vaccinated kids wouldn’t worry about unvaccinated kids.

You have been identified as an uneducated person, You have 30 days to educate yourself on vaccinations or you will be banned.

Problem does not lie in vaccinated people but in people who are unable to get it because of immune system which does not allow it.

And more unvaccinated people increase the risk of spreading the diseases that can be easily prevented.

Please tell me more about this. You've opened up a can of worms I wasn't aware existed.

True. But, if you principally object to this, you still have a few options, one of which is to home school your kids. There is some risk involved though. A religious community  near here, known as The Followers of Christ will not seek medical assistance under any circumstances. A few of their children have died from preventable and/or easily curable medical conditions. The parents were charged and found guilty of child neglect. Some of these parents have been given prison time.

My cousin is a retired CEO of Pfizer. I never met him, but some of his family has nothing good to say about him or Pfizer. He's filthy rich. Maybe they're just jealous.  ::)

My late wife worked at a college whose campus was crossed by high voltage power lines. The incidence of cancer among staff was definitely thought provoking.

Great. Lets let more illegals in and see if we can add  tuberculosis to the mix. Of course you will trot out left leaning publications like Snopes to say I'm wrong, so in advance I'll trot out these scientific publications to say I'm right:

How did they come up with that number?

About 120 people confirmed, only 1 hospitalized and is now out. $10K per person on what???????
