You do realize permanent climate change is gradual and encompasses the whole world. Short-term seasonal record breaking temperatures are far less an indicator of climate change than longterm global changes are. Anything that and anyone who breaks a record is 'historic' until a new record breaks it.
Well how the hell gradual are we supposed to get our panties in a bunch about Prime? Til someone posted about the acid rain thing, I completely forgot about learning about that in 3rd or 4th grade and being afraid to have to make my 1.5 mile walk to or from school when it was raining out until I finally jumped in a puddle barefoot and realized my skin didn't dissolve.
Then came the O-Zone layer, and girls were supposed to stop using aqua-net to tease their bangs up. Then global warming, and now climate change.
When the lakes start disappearing, and fish evolve into new land creatures I might finally start to take this shit seriously again. Notice how it's mostly people on the west coast that are assured it's taking place. Visit the midwest a couple winters in a row and stay for a spell. It might make you re-think this.
