Frank Zane managed to come in 3rd in the Olympia after tearing his urethra, and never had an Olympia appearance lower than 4th. Vince Basile made a weight machine no one uses, and fixed the 1970 Mr.Canada :).

Wow Zane’s dumbbells go up to 55 pounds. Casual lap swimmers in the San Diego area must be lined up for a mile eagerly awaiting the “Zane Experience”. Oh brother!

there is no need to hold size in your 70s

frank zane build is a big inspiration to me since I almost went the mass route and seeing pics of frank's build year and after year made me rethink that mass is over rated and which it is.

20 inch arms + dont come without a price on your body: been there, done that

FFS, Basile...You look like a teleflubby (no worries, so do I!).  Zane is a 3 time Olympia winner back when it meant something to win that title.  You?  You're an all time whiner.

I've been to Zane's home once and he was a gentleman.  I did not have the pleasure of meeting his wife but Frank was very kind toward me.  My older brother is a tremendous fan of his and was introduced to Frank by Leo Stern.   I am also a fan of Zanes and with good reason.  His was the most aesthetic physique of his generation (and beyond) and still superior in every way to pigs like Haney, Jay, Ronnie, Yates and that swine Phildo.

So STFU up, Vinnie B.  Your petty jealousy should be beneath one of your age but no...I'd wager that the biggest thing on you, even before that (buffalo) chip on your shoulder is your freaking ego.

Yup.  I don't know if he still does that but when he moved from Palm Springs (I think) to the La Mesa area of San Diego, he was still training people in his well equipped home gym.  In the desert it was called "Zane Haven" and in La Mesa, "Frank Zane Experience".

One thing for sure the Zane leg blaster wasn't his invention. It was invented by a guy named Moore. Zane bought the rights then implied he made the contraption.

Even in his prime he would go off drugs and hit a soft 170lbs.  On cycle he would look amazing at 185lbs to 205lbs. Now being in his twilight years off drugs he looks frail.  No one gets out alive with muscles.
