You don't even deadlift, so how can you qualify to judge it lil brian?  I have actually pulled 455, nothing special...just like in my original post I said I wasn't doing anything "over the top" with the 365.  I've never claimed to be the strongest guy on here...but you can bet I do more than pullovers on back day.

pullovers are an underrated mass builder, they actually do hit the lats as well. that said they certainly are not all you should be doing for back though...thats just retarded.

No way!  You sound like you've never set foot in a gym, much less spotted anyone on the bench.

The body mechanics for spotting someone are totally different than doing a deadlift.  When you're spotting a guy the weight (and therefore your center of gravity) is out in front of you and your lower back is at greater risk.  In order to be in the strongest and safest biomechanical position you'd have to be standing on the guy's neck while spotting him.

Showstoppa clearly made the right choice in not subjecting his lumbar region to potential injury trying to help a clown who was trying to bench way more than he was able to.
