Arnold gifted him his Chiropractors license when he was Governor I believe.

Just because Columbu had horrific gyno, bow legs, and the contest was fixed doesn't mean that he shouldn't have placed any higher than last, had his citizenship revoked, been deported, and put on an FBI watch list.

Decades ago they used to publish the scores of each judge. Nowadays they don't disclose such delicate things. Instead you have the head judge call out the first comparison and he is telling the judges who to put first, second, and third.

In the judging system they have a rule that if a judge deviates too much from the others he won't be invited back to judge. Ah, how perfect to control the sheep who enter those pageants.

Back then they used to let folks handpick their judges too.

One way to see how good Franco actually was; Cover his legs in a photo and look only at his torso. Its massive! Somehow his short legs destroys his overall impression. Anyway, 81 Franco was way behind 76 Franco.. 76 was a very deserved win! Probably only Lou or Serge could have beaten him then if they had competed. And of course Arnold, but he was all done. For 81 Danny should be the winner in a weak lineup.. No true king of bodybuilding between 76 and 84.
