5 days out first NPC show Advice?

Also kind of annoying as I look better at finals than I did at prejudging and even better now as it takes time for all the crap I ate and drank after weigh ins to fill me back out


Veins are now coming back can’t eat as my stomach is in revolt so only sitting at 206 but the fluid and the little food I ate this am are working there way back into the arms now


Should have trusted myself and shown up at 215lbs and just gone for the over 40  it was worried I would get destroyed open heavyweight and thought getbiggers might focus on the open vs novice or master class. So glad I took 3rd in Open but never dropping to 198.5 again. I was 218 Tuesday night after dehydrating and not eating for 3 days  my body wound up holding more fluid and my abs were worse than before I started. Weigh ins they looked good but I was sick and drank 80+ ounces of fluids between weigh ins and prejudging and it smoothed our abs bloated midsection  as food wasn’t moving either and I have had bad bad gas and now I am even burping up nastiness so fuck no not cutting weight ever again. But will eat 3 meals a day for a couple weeks next time to lean out gradually so I don’t go flat.

I think my hamstrings were probably my biggest weak link so going to work on those and maybe try again next year as a 225lb heavy keep weight and eating reasonable and instead of depleting will just lean out a little. But regardless I know I need more legs.  But sometimes you have to take  where you have come from into consideration. We are not all 25 with no injuries or imbalances but we can all make improvements. This was more about coming back from injury for me. And yeah getting some respect around here is nice. I never said I was Ronnie Coleman I said I would do ok and I think I did. All the other competitors were super nice and supportive. If any of you are debating doing a show just sign up and do one.
