I shave it every couple months if you haven’t noticed I only shave my face about twice a month and you want me to shave my head on a regular basis yeah right. I also have hair in the front most people look at you from the front and I am 511 most people are looking up to me from the front. Maybe someday I will go to turkey and get a transplant maybe not really not a big concern I work from home no one is looking at the back of my head on a daily basis
LoL a transplant wouldn't even bring your hair back. You're George Costanza with muscles you bald fuck. You're much less likeable than George though

My trianing program called for 5 sets of 5 today ramp to max but I already did the max attempt first as I was excited to finally get my bar. So no it doesn’t call for heavy singles every workout but it does call for them every other week. I have been deviating from this a little like I did several sets of one arm drum bell curls after this last time.  But yeah basically sets of 5 and 3 and singles and twice a week is the basic formula.

Yup.

Called in advance.

Can't follow the program.

Too much bro dude in hanky.

You have to max out the day you get a new bar to break it in.

Sound logic.

Then when you fail you will blame the program you didn't follow.

First off No one tells me a damn thing. I am done with this because you are all just a bunch of jealous haters first it’s I am making up my weight and height. Then you claim my arms are fake now my entire pics are fake despite all coming from actual videos I usually save. I have never faked a photo in my life I wouldn’t even know how. I could post a video and you guys will still call it fake an official weight in fake a government physical fake medical records fake and now I am some kind of master photoshopper? Fuck off Haters

Somehow I'm on page 901 of this thread, but it says it goes up to page 906?  Can't wait to see how he's "done with this" in the next 5 pages.

Yes you are allowed to grip anywhere on the bar and some people used a much wider grip than others whatever is comfortable for you. I am planning on doing an event on the flatter Rogue Bar March 4th then an event July 6th or 7th on the more extreme narrow grip gopher bar (some people gripped this wide). Hopefully I can hit an Olympia qualifying lift in July that would be the goal. July is a qualifier for the Mr America but not interested in that would like to do the Olympia though end of November.

Curling events lined up all year?  Feb 25th, March 4th, July 6/7 and then November?  Seriously, I'm terrified of the injury potential here.  The entire course of modern bodybuilding was changed when Tom Platz tore his bicep in 1982, think it over.

I am actually looking at the march 4th event not Feb 25th event that is closer to me and at Wilmington Beach which is more fun than middle of nowhere NC where the Feb 25th event is being held. That is with the Rogue bar and 365 Powrrlifting then July is in the Gopher Bar with SCN. Hopefully I am at a qualifying lift by July for the Olympia in late November in Florida that is the goal. But if I can set some state and age group records that would also be nice.

Honestly I really don’t feel in any danger of tearing a bicep the lift starts fully extended if you can start the lift the bicep can handle it. People get tears when they start contracted and then extend too much weight. It’s those slow heavy negatives that tear biceps as they over extend too heavy on a weakened muscle the muscle is full strength at the extended portion when you start extended much safer. People get tears starting preacher curls at the top too heavy then extending not safe. Starting the curl at the bottom is much safer

Are you doing any controlled negatives as part of your bicep powerlifting training?

Obviously when I do reps I have to lower the weight before the next rep the point is though the set starts at the bottom fully extended you arms are strongest at the beginning of the rep and that is when you are extended. But no I do not try and slowly lower the bar I lower it quickly then lift it back up. I also do speed trianing every other week. The goal is to be explosive at the bottom as that is the most difficult part of the lift not to slowly go through the bottom range in a negative manner hoping for a tear. Fast up fast down I want to lift it up more not spend my strength slowly bringing it down trying to tear something. I am also still incorporating bodybuilding style training for volume blood pump and growth this means things like dumbbell curls and concentration curls but this is additional training doing more as arms get conditioned to the pain and aches of twice a week and heavy lifting isn’t going to hurt me. CT fletcher trained arms everyday when he had the strict curl world record I can add some additional volume work at the end of my powrrlifting workout.

I did 5 reps at 75 then 3 at 95 then 2 at 115 then singles on up after that to warm up. I then did 5 sets of 5 after my max lift at 115.

Gotcha.

I am probably going to grab one of those bars as stright bar curls feel shitty on my wrists.
