Stopped using FaceBook and WhatsApp over a year ago when I realized that Zuckerberg is a spying piece of shit. I never used instagram.

Must say, I don't miss Facebook at all. WhatsApp was convenient in that I kept in contact with my family in Israel by way of a group chat where we would upload family videos and the sort.

If anyone knows of a good alternative to WhatsApp that gives you great privacy features and has the same functionality, let us know.

Telegram is good too. Have more functions than whatsapp and groups can go to over 5k or something

Whatever, this must be some china hacking going on. There's no security with our technologies at all, we might even wake up to millions of empty bank accounts one day. The world we live in is not that safe, free or secure at all

Whistleblower asserts that Facebook profited from and encouraged algos that led up the the "Capitol Riot".

When Garmin was down for this long apparently it was a cyber attack. It got swept under the rug and we never found out what really happened.

It does seem too way coincidental that this happens at the exact time of this whistleblower story that has been on every major network.

It’ll be the Chinese testing infrastructure. They do it all the time.

There’s been a few major things happen here in Oz. Everytime the backstory is it was an attack from China.

Just realise they have backed one of our banks before…… it’s just testing though. They take it down, look around, see how we fix it and how long it took. They don’t ruin it.

The fact they’ve hacked the world’s largest social media communications is a big deal.
