This happened here in Australia, the guy was kind of out of it, and some people came to help him, not knowing that he just snatched a handbag and was making a run for it. By the time the bystanders worked out what was going on, the bag-snatcher was coming too but he had an accomplice who got out of his car and supposedly with a gun threatened those who were trying to detain the bag-snatcher. The bag-snatcher groggily made it into the stolen get away car and they drove of. But he did look like he was suffering from a severe concussion.
