All of NATOs weapons? Hardly mate. They don’t have any of the best toys and Russia is still getting a pasting.
Maybe "all" is hyperbole, but Ukraine has a massive amount of aid, and Putin continues to push eastward - the map of Ukraine keeps getting redder:
If Putin's goal is just to take Eastern Ukraine, I can't fathom that being stopped without triggering nuclear war.
He's only seeking to get Eastern Ukraine, right? Then once he takes it...that's it?
As someone said much earlier in this thread, Russia can fight a war of attrition...Ukraine can't.
If Putin's only goal is to occupy half of Ukraine then stop, I don't see any way that doesn't happen, unless NATO chooses to declare an actual war [not this proxy war, just sending equipment and money to Ukraine].
I mean, really - what do you see as the best case scenario here, Automation?
If it was up to me, NATO would never have been allowed to join NATO, for the same reasons Cuba wasn't allowed to join the USSR [too close for comfort].
Then none of this would have happened.
Under your model, Ukraine joins NATO, Putin objects [obviously - for the same reason why USA objected to the Cuba situation], Russia declares war, potentially hundreds of thousands - even MILLIONS - of people die...and all for what?
So Ukraine is a part of NATO?
Is that THAT important to you?
