bhank - I just took these home tests today; for blood pressure and blood glucose levels.

The blood pressure test was immediately after drinking a MONSTER Energy drink. This was the lowest blood pressure result I got - all were below 120 over 80, except one which was 122, which was the only number for either systolic or diastolic which was at or over 120/80. All other test results were below 120 and below 80. I did either 4 or 5 tests.

The blood glucose test was the highest blood glucose level that I got. My other results were 6.7 and 5.6.

The blood glucose tests were all after a small meal:

Results just came in and sure enough I am still showing some signs of Anemia and a few other flags. Looks like an infection or chronic inflammation with the platelets and lymphs along with some kind of anemia. I have not yet reviewed with my Dr. I will let the getbig experts review can't be as bad as what I am googling on webmd. PSA is good and cholesterol is low surprisingly T4 is low and my estradiol was high. Calcium was low Free Test and total were higher than expected. Bun and kidneys could be doing a little better but creatinine looks fine. Where my bro science Doctors at?

bhank - please discuss my health results above.

Bump.

Discuss my numbers please.

Is a low normal range, fine?

Should I shoot for a 4.0 glucose level?

7 after a small meal is considered normal 6.7-7.8 s is 5.6 without a small meal so yeah you appear to be healthy without a sign of diabetes. 4 would also be considered normal range but no need to lower it as all your scores are within a normal healthy non diabetic range

A blood pressure reading lower than 90 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) for the top number (systolic) or 60 mm Hg for the bottom number (diastolic) is generally considered low blood pressure.

I am not deliberately giving blood. I am passing some blood but my current theory is that my Crohns is preventing me from digestion enough Iron in my diet. Of course could be a combination of the two. But numbers are not that anemic and better than last time. I am considering Iron supplementation I am going to increase my vitamin C

This undoubtedly proves one thing: just because someone lifts weights, it does not mean they are healthy.

What a mess!

I agree with your statement but who do you think is healthier him or someone the same age who’s 30 pounds over weight, doesn’t work out and sits at a desk all day? He looks good for a middle aged man he just needs to shave his head or get a make over, a little cave mannish   :D

Geezus, you look like fucking shit and have no hopes of winning a show with someone or more in your class.  Re-read Honest's post and take his advice b4 what he told you is coming happens, and you leave your child fatherless.

You're just a wreck of a human being all around dude.  See a shrink ASAP!

My results [after a meal] were:

- 7.0
- 6.7
- 5.6

Should we be striving for specific numbers? Is it better to be on the very low end of the range, or does that not matter?

I've read online that 7.8 is hyperglycemia...then another source said >10.0 is hyperglycemia. Is there any range that would be considered a Gold Standard?

And then, my question above: does it matter WHERE in that range you land?

Thank you.

It's not unusual for me to get 120/60, say for instance.

It's my diastolic [lower number] that I find is pretty often low...sometimes getting a reading of, say, 100/40.

I think one of these numbers matter more, but I can't recall which?

I have bradycardia [slow heart rate], with my morning resting heart rate measured by heart ultrasound at 52-55 [toggling between that range].

I'm a big time health pussy, and I get crippling anxiety if I eat more than 1,800 calories a day, or if my body weight goes above 180-lb.

I fear for my health, and I fear for everyone's health.

I always plan a cycle, then don't do it, because I'm such a health pussy.

Purplish bloated face, solid abs, right shoulder bigger than left , left arm 1.5 inches bigger than right arm, bad fix on pec tear, legs look better.  Up the dose or throw in the towel.

bhank's legs are bigger than mine, so I cannot criticize his physique:

Those are good cuts in his legs.

Hanky: 230 Pounds ..... Wes: 155 Pounds both 5' 8"

Far outweighing me by around seventy or more pounds yet he doesn`t look much bigger than I do.
