ND, If you read my post, I even mentioned that back double bi pic of Ronnie vs Yates. It was circa 1994 and that was way before Ronnie hit his stride. Once again, Dorian (who I like but is not in Ronnie's or Lee Haney's league) was at or near his peak and Ronnie was just getting started. Remember, Ronnie worked full time as a cop for years until he took up BB full time. Look at the changes from Ronnie 1988 to 1998. That is mindblowing. Nobody, and I mean nobody, can beat Coleman from the front. It is debateable if anyone can beat him from the back (Yates 1993 was close, but no cigar). Yates did not look that great in 1992; he won because Haney was not there. End of story. In 1994 and 1996 he looked bloated. His arms were screwed by 1996 anyway, so his symmetry was shot. You bring up Benaziza; he could have gone toe to toe with Yates and you know this. His back was equal and his conditioning was supreme. His only fault was his height. Yates never had his taper, and he would not have beaten an in shape 210-215 pound Benaziza who was five feet tall. Dude was the ultimate freak show. Levrone could have definitely beaten Yates; his back was wide enough. He just never had the mass in his legs the later years that he had when he turned pro. Could you imagine if Levrone had the work ethic of a Yates or Coleman. We could very well be talking about the greatest bodybuilder ever. Regardless, when all is said and done Coleman will the one who took the sport to a different, freaky, level. I agree, I like Flex and Haney, but Coleman has taken bodybuilding to a different level. Will we see it again, we shall see. BTW, Fedarov has awesome arms and back, but turn him around and his blocky waist and screwed up chest totally make this comparison uninteresting...Coleman hammers him big time.
