Dayum! I’m away for one day and suddenly there is a 9-page thread with my name on it! Now I have some semblance of what it must be like for Arvilla, who at any given point has 4-5 multi-page threads about him…LOL.
I didn’t read all nine pages, but I’ll give my $0.02 cents on some of the points…
“Rhino”, Achim was never a 1st tear pro. I don’t think he ever won a pro show even though he was one of the biggest most shredded freaks of his time. The same could be said of Matarazzo or Jim Quinn (who BTW I know very well and like a lot). They didn’t win pro shows, because they had blocky, unaesthetic, incomplete physiques. All of them were beaten by smaller more complete bodybuilders.
Having said that, I am a huge fan of freaky mass monsters like Leverone, Coleman, Francois and dare I say Flex Wheeler. All of these guys not only a had sick amounts of shredded muscle hanging off their frames, but they also had a pleasing look to them i.e. full round muscle bellies, beautiful symmetry, flowing lines, great v-taper, etc.
From the pics I’ve seen of you, you fall into the “walking refrigerator/3rd tier” category. Yes, you are big/shredded. However, with your underdeveloped arms, lack of quad sweep, GH-gut, etc., you look as pleasing as a heaping pile of “Rhino” dung.

Now, someone asked why I’m challenging “Rhino”, if I don’t ever plan on competing & have “never won a show”. 1st, I actually won the light-heavyweight & overall at the NPC Mr. Huntington Beach, beating a total of 35+ competitors including the entire heavyweight line-up. Granted, it was just a local show, but hey I won! 2nd, I’m not challenging “Rhino”. My exactly quote was “I would DESTROY "Rhino"...even at a post Grand Canyon hike weight of 185...”. I guess the humor in that was missed. Obviously if I stepped on stage after hiking the Grand Canyon not only would I not beat “Rhino”, but I would also be the next Vince G…yikes!

For me to make a real “come back”, I would 1st have to get my shoulders fixed. Both are fooked up to the point were I cannot do any overhead pressing and have not in years. Then, I would need at least 18 months of consistent mass building to get to a lean off-season weight of 240. Then I would need another 16 weeks or so to diet down. I would probably step on stage at about 205-210…diced. That’s about 10-15lbs. heavier than when I did the LA.
And you know what? Even then I still would not be big enough to win an NPC national qualifier. You see, I may have a “pleasing shape”, but believe me, my genetics for this sport SUCK. I don’t respond well to gear. I am injury prone. It’s very difficult for me to both put on muscle and get ultra-shredded. I have body-parts that if unchecked, get dwarfed by others. And, I have low recovery capabilities. The pics of me that you have see were the result of balls to the wall intense & smart training. None of it came easy. Which is why there won’t be a “comeback” anytime soon. I can put half the effort into something else that I am better suited for, and get twice the payback…it’s a no-brainer!
