It's pretty funny to read all these photo comparisons of different bodybuilders. Photos don't mean shit. Some guys aren't very photogenic, but put them on stage in contest shape and they blow everyone else away. At the opposite extreme are guys who look fantastic in gym photos, but never do very good in contests because their weaknesses stick out like a sore thumb.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha

well, thats cool. I am not putting him down, his body is different than mine, actually, he and I are cool, we kid each other alot.

My physique was actually more like his when I was around 205. But when you get bigger, upwards to 275-300, you just lose that. But actually, that was my goal-extreme mass.

I do agree that most would rather look like mindspin, I just do what I want, for me. seriously.

you seem cool though, you should be on the team...team Rhino.

I like the idea of team Rhino.  Jack represents the other 99.9% of the population who weren't born with the perfect bodybuilding shape but busted their ass and made themselves great bodybuilders anyway.  Yeah Mindspin might have good shape, but at 200lbs he'd get beaten by a bigger man the same as Shawn Ray, Flex Wheeler, Melvin Anthony and any other "pretty shape "bodybuilders have.  If I could pick my genetics, personally I like Melvin's frame the best, but I'm not Melvin and can't look like Melvin.  But I can bust my ass and pack on the mass, then diet and cardio harder than he will to come in looking like I was chisled out of rock like Dorian and smoke 'em all everytime.  Keep up the hard work Jack, for the other 99.9% of "us".

Finally, someone knows who I am.

That absolutely sums me up, everything. Sarcasm? read this, and maybe YOU will get it. Same with spicy sushi.

Gordon-gecco(great movie) you fiqured me out, very good!!!! and thanks man.

No problem - just remember the old saying "Nothing stops a charging Rhino!"... Continue to give 'em hell... ;)

Dayum!  I’m away for one day and suddenly there is a 9-page thread with my name on it!  Now I have some semblance of what it must be like for Arvilla, who at any given point has 4-5 multi-page threads about him…LOL.

I didn’t read all nine pages, but I’ll give my $0.02 cents on some of the points…

“Rhino”, Achim was never a 1st tear pro.  I don’t think he ever won a pro show even though he was one of the biggest most shredded freaks of his time.  The same could be said of Matarazzo or Jim Quinn (who BTW I know very well and like a lot).  They didn’t win pro shows, because they had blocky, unaesthetic, incomplete physiques.  All of them were beaten by smaller more complete bodybuilders.

Having said that, I am a huge fan of freaky mass monsters like Leverone, Coleman, Francois and dare I say Flex Wheeler.  All of these guys not only a had sick amounts of shredded muscle hanging off their frames, but they also had a pleasing look to them i.e. full round muscle bellies, beautiful symmetry, flowing lines, great v-taper, etc.

From the pics I’ve seen of you, you fall into the “walking refrigerator/3rd tier” category.  Yes, you are big/shredded.  However, with your underdeveloped arms, lack of quad sweep, GH-gut, etc., you look as pleasing as a heaping pile of “Rhino” dung. ;D

Now, someone asked why I’m challenging “Rhino”, if I don’t ever plan on competing & have “never won a show”.  1st, I actually won the light-heavyweight & overall at the NPC Mr. Huntington Beach, beating a total of 35+ competitors including the entire heavyweight line-up.  Granted, it was just a local show, but hey I won!  2nd, I’m not challenging “Rhino”.  My exactly quote was “I would DESTROY "Rhino"...even at a post Grand Canyon hike weight of 185...”.  I guess the humor in that was missed.  Obviously if I stepped on stage after hiking the Grand Canyon not only would I not beat “Rhino”, but I would also be the next Vince G…yikes! :o

For me to make a real “come back”, I would 1st have to get my shoulders fixed.  Both are fooked up to the point were I cannot do any overhead pressing and have not in years.  Then, I would need at least 18 months of consistent mass building to get to a lean off-season weight of 240.  Then I would need another 16 weeks or so to diet down.  I would probably step on stage at about 205-210…diced.  That’s about 10-15lbs. heavier than when I did the LA.

And you know what?  Even then I still would not be big enough to win an NPC national qualifier.  You see, I may have a “pleasing shape”, but believe me, my genetics for this sport SUCK.  I don’t respond well to gear.  I am injury prone.  It’s very difficult for me to both put on muscle and get ultra-shredded.  I have body-parts that if unchecked, get dwarfed by others.  And, I have low recovery capabilities.  The pics of me that you have see were the result of balls to the wall intense & smart training.  None of it came easy.  Which is why there won’t be a “comeback” anytime soon.  I can put half the effort into something else that I am better suited for, and get twice the payback…it’s a no-brainer!

You could not beat me on your best day, you are too small.

Time for an ego-check, "don't just sing it, bring it"

I love how people say how they would beat me, but they choose not too. please, excuses, put up or shut up.  Seriously, don't tell everyone you would beat me, do it.

"Daddy's going to jail?" for using gear? come on man, thats a strectch.

If you can put the time and energy into some grand canyon non-sense, then you have the time and energy to compete against me, you are so full of shit.

I'll say it again, one last time, "you could not beat me on your best day"

please

All jokes aside Lucius that is not generally Mindspin's style. He has left up photoshopped pics of himself, major insults, plenty of posts calling him Screech/gay etc, and one memorable thread where Mindspin was crticizing a female bb for being masculine and her husband came and went beserk in the thread. Flamed Mindspin for page upon page.

Yemeni's competitive days have long since passed.....

He plateaued because his frame couldn't support the muscle and pounding of lifting the type of weight it would take to maintain that quantity of mass.

His body began to crumble under the pressure.

At best he could have been a poor man's Shawn Ray.

All that remains are past memories of met-RX and dreadlocks wrapped in plastic.   :-\

WTF?  Dread locks in plastic? poor man's Shawn Ray? Uh ???  My body didn't "crumble".  My shoulders may be fooked, but I am healthier, more energetic and vibrant than ever.  And, my strength levels are about 90% of what they were at my peak.

I don't agree with Division's statement.

From what Mindspin has said before, he just didn't like the direction things were heading.

He has a wife & family now which are more important than getting juiced to the gills & wearing posing trunks.

Honestly, I think Mindspin has achieved the goals he set after.

Now he's got some different goals.
