Very unlikely. Many people live on leased land. It is wise to have a long lease if it is available. Many riverside condos and homes in Portland sit on leased land. The John's landing area was developed in the 80's with high end condos and $100,000 waterfront homes all of which sit on land with a 100-year lease.
Sometimes living on leased land is not so great. There used to be a manufactured home park in West Linn, OR. Many of the homeowners were seniors who didn't want big yards to maintain, and they liked the amenities the neighborhood offered such as a clubhouse and a large pool. The owner of the land decided to sell it to a developer. Eventually everyone had to move. I believe the developer had to compensate them. It was likely a lot less than they originally paid to purchase their home. These homes were upscale doublewide manufactured houses which cost more to move and reassemble (if possible) than they were worth.
When this happened the home owners were able to delay the sale of the property for a few years by suing the landowner. Different states have varying laws regarding leased land.
