I saw him eat a hand full of X one time and he was banging a stripper on our party bus. I thought he was going to have a heart attack he was sweating profusley.

Vince should be somewhere around 20-25 wins if I'm not mistaken. Only Ronnie and Dexter would be close. I can't recall the exact number of wins...but it was something like that.

And yes - the universe cancelled Don Youngblood. He was one of the first pro bodybuilders to have competed in the chemical era to die. After Sonny Schmidt, basically.

Levrone was up in the 20's too.

It’s too bad Youngblood couldn’t live to see his legacy of BB’s like Bhank.

Using his inspiration and principles putting unrealistic bullshit as the pillar of their life. It’s the equivalent of driving a car with a blindfold on into a brick wall.

One thing gets me really confused, ok, some individuals respond incredibly well to AAS and GH, but how come they look so shitty without gear?
I mean how a seemingly ordinary arm become a peaky mountain?
Long muscle bellies, nice tie-ins, muscle roundness emerges from nowhere!
BTW I don't think Youngblood was all drugs, there are many hidden gems every where.
I am a realtor, today I took pictures of an apartment, tenant wasn't there,
He is seemingly a skinny 60 year old fellow.
He gave me the keys to let me take pictures of the apartment to my convenience, he had lines of clothes hanged to dry which I had to take out of the way.
They were all XL shirts and t-shirts.
Now I realized this skinny guy had mile wide shoulders, filling XL clothes
So you can never know how a person responds to weight training and drugs, till they try their hand.

1 Genetics/response
2 Drugs
3 Food
4 Training

All are important but 1 and 2 are the most

Flex wheeler, Paul Dillett are prime examples

It is totally insane to me that there are people who put training as #1.

It couldn't be less important, IMO.

If half the Mr. Olympia competitors didn't train for a full year but took all the drugs and ate all the food, and the other half trained and ate all the same food - I have no doubt that that drugged half would massively outcompete the trained half.

This is assuming the exact same diet.

Yet there are people who act like training is the answer.  ::)

when a pro says they started "training" that's code for "using gear"

We may as well add Dons resume for comparison:

Don Youngblood

Born April 7, 1954

Died May 2005
Don had a successful trucking business. He was in good shape when he won Mr O. But probably not good enough to beat Vince Taylor. Totally different physiques.

I can't even wear 2X shirts. Needs to be 3X or more. If a shirt says XL I know it won't fit comfortably. Guys like Brian Shaw need to go with 5-6X probably lol.
