I had my first A-FIB attack probally around 45. Had to be shocked to get my heart back in Rhythm. Afterward, i had different Episodes, where i would take a medication to correct my heart rhythm. Along with the blood pressure meds, i took, (always had high blood pressure), taking steroids would not have been a good decision.
I was totally drug free in my 40s and 50s. I just worked hard, ate a lot of food, was about 270. In my 50s, i got a new doctor, and the first thing he did was to put me on a blood thinner, so i would not get a stroke with my A-FIB. So again, steroids would have been stupid.
I’m now on just 75 mgs a week for over 6 years now. And i feel fantastic.
Of course i do have issues, but dont we all😎
