He was a dude blessed with great genetics and  low self-esteem. Combine them with a few guys who tell him what he's always wanted to hear, provided him with drugs so long as he does what they say. It's gonna be like hitting the lottery.

Every time you pull that lever at the slot machine (follow instructions), money pours out. You never see an end... But human bodies aren't machines, we break down. After 20yrs of pulling that slot machine handle and winning, all of a sudden you're not only not winning, you're losing (in life, no matter situation... Financial, health, family, etc..) it's hard to deal with for someone who's always come out on top

True.  But there's gotta be a little upside to his situation?  I mean, he must be saving money on socks, shoes and sneakers, right..?

He said he went there for another left shoulder surgery.

If he was abused as a child it was probably the beginning of the end for him when it happened.

Most accounts of him in his heyday of being obnoxious and his lust for attention show a highly insecure person.

It really shows the mentality of many of these pros who get a second chance and still squander it.
