Questions like this really show much you live in a bubble. Trump is a developer who builds hotels and casinos. His brand (i.e., his name) is so profitable that people pay money for it. For example, while he builds hotels around the world, there is a Trump hotel in Waikiki that he did not build, but they pay him to use his name.
Trump became one of the wealthiest men in the world before ever getting anywhere near political office. He lost money by serving as POTUS. He also donated his entire POTUS salary.
Biden, on the other hand, was not wealthy for this entire life as a career politician, and only became one of the wealthiest men in the country after leaving office, as a direct result of his government service.
A blind man can see the stark differences. Partisan hacks may have a little trouble.
What in my post gives you the idea I don't know anything about Trump's businesses and business practices. Everything he does including taking a shit is in the news and has been for some time, including his (at least) six bankruptcies.
Failed businesses:
Trump Steaks - started in 2007 folded after 2 months
2. GoTrump - travel agency website which started in 2006 and closed in 2007
3. Trump Airlines - In 1988, he bought an airline. After only 18 months, it lost over $125 million.
4. Trump Vodka - Launched in 2005 - ended production in 2011. Note, empty and unopened bottles can be bought in EBay for ridiculous prices.

9. Trump Ice - A bottled water product. It was discontinued in 2010
10. The New Jersey Generals - Trump purchased it in 1984 for between $5 million and $10 million. Following a lawsuit against the NFL they shutdown. This is just one of many teams that Trump tried to buy over the years.
11. Tour de Trump - Trump’s namesake race lasted only two years, the short run largely thanks to his empire’s billions of dollars of debt.
12. Trump Network - Not dead but bleeding badly, Trump to date has lost $550 million from his net worth due to Truth Social's failure to produce.
Although not Trump personal bankruptcies to date, hotels and casino businesses of his have declared bankruptcy six times between 1991 and 2009 due to its inability to meet required payments and to re-negotiate debt with banks, owners of stock and bonds and various small businesses (unsecured creditors). Two Trump-branded real estate projects in Florida that have gone into foreclosure.
As of May, Forbes estimates Trump's net worth at $2.5 billion,
putting the real estate developer at No. 1,232 on the magazine's list of the world's richest billionaires.
