Cough after TRT injection

Everything’s prescribed and straight from the pharmacy. 200 mg/ml test cyp injected into my thigh and I swear about 1 out of every 5 times I get the urge in my esophagus to cough and it take about half an hour to go away. Wtf is it?

Ive never experienced a cough with TRT. Seems unusual to me. Maybe you are manifesting it. Where on your thigh are you shooting? I don't know what difference the glute would make? If your injecting in the right spot , intramuscular,  you theoretically would get the same response. But I'm not an expert on it.

You’ve hit a blonde capillary and some of the oil has leaked in which as it gets pumped through the lungs gives you the urge to cough.

It shouldn’t happen often though. I’ve had maybe 2 in the last 7yrs and both times in the quads as it’s more probably to hit veins and such.

Switch sites and skip that leg altogether.

I've learned through hard experience that it's retarded to go IM.  You're doing unnecessary damage to your muscles, and you can (and eventually will, if you stay on long enough,) hit and injure a nerve.  Delt injections are particularly bad.

TRT should be taken subcutaneously.

I think it's very rare to never have coughed when using tren but that's me. Throat pain and metallic taste but no cough. For some it's bad enough to swear off tren altogether.

It's a known reaction to testosterone and it's listed in the PDR etc. Nebido, 4ml test undec., stresses slow injection for this reason.

One friend wanted me to inject him with the tren. I was to go extremely slow where he could tell me to stop when he felt the cough coming on.

Yup. 52 injections weekly x 20+ years = a lot of trauma to the nerves and muscle tissue

I actually had a dart bend at an almost 90-degree angle when going in. What was supposed to be a 1.5cc deep intramuscular glute turned into a 1/8-inch sub takes a lot longer to absorb not what you want to do. There is a reason it says IM.

Yo, he's on TRT.  Which means that he's "always on" and that he'll eventually reach a pharmacokinetic steady state.  "Time to absorption" really isn't a factor.  And, anyway, it's really not much different between administration methods:  https://academic.oup.com/jcem/article/107/3/614/6410585

I never got that and only that taste in my mouth.

If you get the cough and tight chest, drinking the soda helps

He didn’t mention dosing. He only mentioned the strength per ml of test, so I’m not sure how much he’s injecting. He did say TRT, so it shouldn’t be much unless he’s on the BH protocols. And if it’s too much which it shouldn’t be, break it up into 2 days which is optimal for most anyways. Shit aint rocket science. Injecting in your muscle and coughing from TRT. Oh brother.
