Cook, try doing 3-4 sets of triceps pressdowns for high reps (20-30),followed by the Skullcrushers.......just don`t go as heavy, higher reps, with one minutes rest between sets.....less rest makes lighter weight feel heavy really fast...............or tell me to mind my own fucking business!   LOL   ;D
no I am always glad to get good advice from people like you.I use to do skullcrushers for powerlifting to improve my bench. They actually worked well but I was doing sets of 5 with a heavy weight for me.I will try doing them second or maybe even third in my triceps workout.Elbows feel pretty good now so maybe if I do them after already doing a couple of other exercises and use a light weight I will survive them.Great advice guys and Wes I appreciate you taking time to help me out.

I often think of exercises I've dropped for one reason or another.

Now I gotta try to find a parallel grip bar in my gym for skull crushers :D

BigRob does JM presses with insane loads and I noticed I will never get to that level :D

Dips and skull crushers, I’m sure I could ease back into them but the joints don’t care for either much anymore. I’m in better shape without them now anyways so it’s optional.

Pull up and Chins. I always felt my grip/arms giving up on them well before my lats so I dropped them.

Mentzer thought curl grip pullups or pulldowns were the greatest bicep exercise. Arthur Jones might have said it before him.

Edit. Just a set of dips and a set of curl grip pulldowns would maximize your arm size potential in 2 years. Ad only 400 hours of total training for realizing full muscular potential. He might not have been far off.

My pleasure Cook.......I too would do 5 rep heavy sets to increase benching power.................th is fucked my elbows up after a time.

When I started with the higher rep Pressdowns and went lighter on he Skulls my elbow pain was soon gone.

Van,just use 2 dumbbells if you don`t have access to a parallel grip bar.

Also with 2 dumbbells you can lower them further (right beside your ears) increasing the ROM.

Very impressive Jeff!!

I had posted a pic of the trophies I had won up to that point in time on gh15`s old board.............it`s long gone now.

I have some of my more prestigious ones in my house the others are in my barn gathering dust.
