Seems like the member got extremely upset because I’m sure she felt so strongly that she was in the right. And if she felt that strongly that she was right…I bet she was.

The employee probably was arrogant and talked down to her. Remember that segment from the Chapelle Show called “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong”? Looks like this is the same premise. Some of these gym employees think they’re the “cock of the walk”.

And interesting how the article seems to be 1 sided on the side of Planet Fitness. Why is she labeled “deranged “? Let’s see some facts of what transpired prior to the employee getting a dose of reality. Would love to find out who “complained” about her? Whoever whined to the manager is at fault for this and should be kicked out of the gym. Mind your business. Everyone has their demons. Who knows what this poor lady was dealing with on this day to make her react like this.

I agree she should not have done that. But if the employee decided to take the risk of treating her like crap and acting like a big, tough arrogant prick towards her, then her rage was the result of challenging her. If he wants to act like the final boss, he best be prepared for anything. Survival mode. You never know who you are picking a fight against or if they’re mentally disturbed. He should have called the police and gotten away from her. In the future, he needs to be very cautious with how he talks to people.

Is she crazed? Or was this the last straw and she’s done with all the BS. Like the guy who drove the car into the dealership because they wouldn’t refund him. Sometimes people are just done with all the crap.
