I was hoping the phillies would have picked him up in the off season. Soto and lindor and bichette did pretty poorly this year and didn't live up to their big contracts.
Mets let politics and stars influence moves. Letting Nimmo go was bad enough, but replacing with Simien was even worse. Obvious from the get-go.
Bichette was never worth what he got for a contract. Solid player, poor defender.....Mets got desperate and overpaid like crazy.
