I don't think AI will make human labor obsolete. Some jobs will become obsolete, some will stay largely untouched by AI, and others will use it as a tool. But it won't eliminate the need for people. Lower level coding jobs may become close to obsolete. But AI isn't going to mow your lawn or handle your plumbing and electrical work. And just as we still have accountants and mathematicians even with calculators and Excel, many roles will persist as technology changes.

I wonder if you've been living under a rock, with all due respect. A.I. is absolutely going to make vast amounts of jobs obsolete very soon.

I think AI is a new technology that will change the world, much like the internet did. Everyone knew the internet would be a big deal, but no one could confidently say which companies would win. Some went bankrupt like pets.com, while others took off like Google. The same will be true for AI. Some companies will reward investors and others will fail. Since I’m not smart enough to know which ones will deliver a good ROI, I just invest in index funds. I do think there’s a bubble, but it’s hard to know where the top or bottom is. I do not think it will devastate the world like all the doomsayers.
