i just finished watching a cut above and jays wife is amazingly defined  :o (hott :-*) good job jay  8)

She is fine, but it amazed me that she was spotting him.  Was that just for the video, or all the time?

I love it, dude is doing 3 plates on the incline and she is "spotting". From what I see she is a great cook. In the video she is always in the kitchen prepping food.

in Ripped to Shreds he said she was the hardest trainer that he's ever seen, she is really hot, in New. Improved and Beyond she actually spotted him on 405 on the incline for 4 reps, she didn't lift the bar off the rack though she just pulled on the bar on each rep.

That and she's hot and definitely a keeper.  I think she just got her masters degree if I'm not mistaken and is working in her field.

I believe she's working full time as a nurse. She used to help Jay cook all his meals and such, but now he cooks his meals himself. She also used to run his website but now he does the majority of work on it.

I'm sure at this point, Jay know's what he can or can't do, but if I really needed a spot, I don't think I would rely on her.  For example, can you imagine her spotting Ronnie?

i remember watching his video while she was spotting him on inclines and he was looking straight up into her camel toe, i wouldn't be able to concentrate.

If you need a big guy to spot you, you are going way to heavy for yourself.
If I need a spot for my last 2 reps or something like this, I ask my girlfriend and I never had any problems.

a spotter really should only be taking 15 or 20 pounds off the bar anyway on those last couple of reps.

Ideally, I agree, but in cases of injury, just flat out missing a lift, etc... I'll take a little bigger partner than a 110lb female.

In general I would agree with you but sometimes you might want to dig out one more rep (maybe doing a negative) fully relying on your spotter

Yeah, i would not rely on a girl for spotting. it's even better if the spotter is stronger than me, it motivates me more.

granted that Jay is a pro and knows his body... but you can't beat it when your spotter says 3 more when you think that you have 1 more left.  You need that trust to be there that he can give you the help that you need to get the weight up.
