I've seen your photos Kevin and you are good but your loyalty for the IFBB and hatred for what Wayne is doing gets me going. I hate people and companies that take advantage of others and reap in the riches while others suffer. And the IFBB, Manion and the Weiders fit this bill. So anything I can do to stop it I will. And supporting Wayne and his idea seems to be the best way to do it now.
Also, whoever called me flapjack is funnier than hell. I love that word.
I appreciate what you went through Keith and I don;t take any of the personal remarks people say here to heart, even when you wished me an early death and told me I was a crap photographer

The only bad part about the insults is that it quickly ruins any valid and worthwhile discussions.
On a serious note, I don't hate Wayne. I spent quite some time with hime over the years at the NOC's, Olympia's and Euro Tours and we always had a great time.
My doubts over the PDI have nothing to do with me supporting the IFBB or FLEX etc. etc. they are based on simple logic - the "simple" reference will now have all the keyboard gangsters creaming their knickers thinking over one-liners!
The interest in competetive bodybuilding has been falling over the past ten years. Tickets to shows stay in the box office and promoters fail.
Is there room for another federation to succeed?
What does the PDI or any other future start-up organisation have to offer that the IFBB, NABBA etc. don't already supply?
Why are sponsors so reluctant to reveal their identity. Surely every day they are not known, means less publicity for them? Why are there no contact details for the shows in Europe?
I'd ask the same questions if it was Joe Blow starting up.
We've already had athletes have their preparations spoiled because of the cancellation of the Toronto show. They don't need anymore, whether they be IFBB. NABBA , the PDI or the Fat Fuckers of the UK Society?
You may not like the IFBB, NPC, etc. but they are still the best route for a competetive bodybuilder to make a living. The Olympia paid out the highest prize money in the history of the sport, and if my memory proves correct, no athlete has been fined since Wayne "left"

Of course, it's easy to see the PDI as the underdog and want to support it, but a quick look at it's history shows a record of failure and lack of support. With no promoters or sponsors named, it's easy to assume that nothing has changed?
I will say that at least you've put your money where your mouth and heart is and tried to contribute to the sport which so I respect you for that. I have rather less for those who just sit on the side lines bitching about a business they know nothing of.
Good luck, good night
