yah there were plenty of multiple degree black belts in useless martial arts like Karate, Kung fu, and Tai kwow do. They all got there asses handed to them and the myth of the black belt was debunked, given how anyone with athletic ability and strength can own most karate Black belts in street fights.

Tell that to Andy Hug or Bas Rutten.

I have alot of knowledge to offer as far as martial arts. I earned a second degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and I also have built a fantastic physique without the use of drugs that f*&% up your heart.

Tell that to Andy Hug or Bas Rutten.

Bas Rutten has most of his wins by submission you tool, if you know anything about his career, he knew the ground game was the essence and worked his ass of to perfect it.

Oh and how many MMA wins does your hero Andy Hug have?

You trusting fool. Don't you see it's that fantastic physique of yours that is drawing those man-lovers to scope out those taut glistening buttocks of yours and lick their lips over the fleshy paradise within?

Sure, you could give up your "impressive size" to make yourself (relatively) pervert-safe. But what example would such meekness set for other young Christians.

No!

He was the K-1 champion. It's standup MMA.

Bas record is

Wins 27
By knockout 11
By submission 13
Losses 4
Draws 1

If by "most" you mean 2 more wins by submission you are correct.

Bas Rutten martial arts background also centered around kickboxing/muay thai, NOT karate.

nothing wrong with stand up but if you aint got a grappling backround whether its judo, sambo, wrestling or jiu jitsu your pretty much fucke$ if you get taken down to the pavement, the ufc and pride has proved this many times over as well as real street fights also proved this

K1 is not a street fight, again let me reiterate what GracieBJJ said, if you have no ground game you are fucked, periode. and Muay Thai and boxing are much more efficient in stand up than Karate.

If by "most" you mean 2 more wins by submission you are correct.

So what you find offensive should be taken as law? As far as knowledge who cares? People could care less about "your knowledge" when you have the attitude that you are above other people you don't find fitting into your world. I'm sure I have a better physique than you with no drugs, no Karate, and a great attitude towards everyone.

Kyokushin Karate has done very well in K-1. I think one time they had a K-1 event of Kyokushin vs Muay Thai and the Karate guys won.

Nothing wrong as a bodybuilder to do some jiu jitsu/ boxing/ wrestling once in a while. Could do that instead of cardio maybe.

Mussolini(Why would you choose that name I don't know)

Pride and UFC is biased against standup fighters. Most of the standup fighter's weapons are taken away in these competitions. Especially the UFC. They are not allowed to elbow, headbutt, eye gouge, kick on the ground, foot stomp, etc. It's biased.

I agree Dorian. Some "mall Karate" is stupid because they do endless kata, but Kyokushin is true to the original karate way. They usually train full-contact. They don't do point fighting.

I'm not above anyone unless they are sining against god. Would god want someone to cornhole another guy? Jesus would not approve of it. I used to sin myself, I'm sure we all have, but I've found Jesus Christ in AA and I've turned a new lead in life.

Dude with all due respect, the headbutt and elbows effected the ground and pound fighter more than anyone.

Mark Coleman, and Mark Kerr (both amazing wrestlers) were so dominant with elbows and headbutts on the ground the UFC outlawed them,

someone dig out that clip where a gracie fights that karate black belt dude and breaks the karate dudes arm in about 1 minute,im not making fun of karate but rather telling the reality of it all.even though i dont practice karate im not going to say its totally useless,im sure there are acouple kicks or so that can be added to an already good mixed martial artist game, thats why we call it mixed martial arts after all, taking alittle of each art and blending it into a effective fighting style

Why do you assume I believe people shouldn't train ground? Although Lidell is handling himself well against all the grapplers.

Ok man, anyone who has even minimal knowledge of MMA knows G n P is used and dominated by wrestlers. Save your breath and please dont even try to argue this,  Mark COlmean coined the phrase, and like I said, IM not even going to argue this with you as you have 0 mma knowledge to even insinsuate that strikers use GnP.

Bottom line, to be good at MMA you need wrestling/BJJ, boxing Muay Thai

Well then you would be against most of the world population! I think that just because you went to AA meetings and found "GOD" you are under the impression that you have solved your issues. Sorry bro, but you have attitude issues that you still have to deal with.

Lidell is also a division one wrestler, so he know that part of the game to.

Sure he beat Randy when Randy was 42, but at the age of 40 Randy still handed him his ass.
