He can't answer you until he gets to work tomorrow. He doesn't waste his own time on this message board--just his employers.

What I want to know is why he calls himself "Rhino" instead of "Wolf".

I mean, come on. Jack London. Wolf. Get it?

Hey now. You know better than to bring in literature references to GB. All that will get you is blank stares and some time-out with Alexx. Maybe even sued, the ways things are going lately.   ;)

why not ask him about his competition mention? guy said he squatted either in the high 800s or low 900s equipped in competition, so i'm assuming the 1000+ weight was in a gym and not to competition depth.

Yeah, and your point??????

I used to train @ Temple University's powerlifting facility. We were National champions back then. This is true, that I never did it in a competition, but I did do it. Weighed about 330lbs and was 18 yrs old. Simple inzer suit, nothing fancy..today, the technology helps too much. I also benched 661, without a shirt, well we had shirts but they were the thin inzer ones, not even denim. This is back in the 80's.

answer your Q.... Oh, and I can still bench 500+ in a tank top. I inclined 405 Last night for 8.

My point is you probably should think more about work when you are at work. Just an opinion. If your employer is cool with you posting on a message board all day long, then good for you.

No, I am just that good at what I do. and sometimes it's true, I don't have time. I have had a lot of down time recently due to the season, but as fall comes around, well I won't have the time. Results, not time are critical in my business, but i can apreciate what you are saying.

+1000lbs @ 18 yrs old is probably the biggest lift I've ever read about. Fred Hatfield, Dr Squat (you probably saw him in the gym @ Temple, is famous for squatting 1000 lbs.

What did you do in competition?

Yes, I met Fred a few time, he was incredible. In a meet: 871 squat, 580 Bench, 700 deadlift. Then I hit the bigger lifts, but it was in a gym meet, about 6months later, then I quit to be a bodybuilder.

really, back then those lifts were good, now, they don't compaer at that bodyweight. At the 1988 colegiate nationals, I won the overall winner, pound for pound was the strongest guy there. I thought that was cool because usually thelighter guys won that. I have some pics, I will get them out to Rob so you can see. I am Fat, and have a full head of hair!! 44 inch waist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
