Who had a better Physique: Lee Labrada or Shawn Ray

Da hell... Comparing Lee to Shawn. What an insult. Shawn Ray is in a different league. I love Lee's physique but it is nowhere near as great as Shawn. Gimme a fawkin break.

This thread is like saying that rich gaspari was better than lee haney. he wasnt. great in his prime and pushed the awesome one a few times...

SR's placings were only skewed by the fact that the big guys got the gift top spots..its arguable that placings couldve been 1 and 2 labrada/ray...but i would have ray at least 2 places below LL.

On paper, Lee record impressive no doubt.  But, if I remember correctly shawn placed 2nd to yates at the Olympia several years in a row.  It would be close... Shawn at his best beats Lee.

Labrada won more shows and beat Ray on head-to-head competition more times.  However, that to me is meaningless.  If we answer the question posed in the 1st post of this thread…

…then the answer is clearly Shawn Ray.  The last time they did battle on stage, if memory serves me right, Shawn finally beat Lee because he had better separation, detail, full muscles and more overall mass.     

Thank you Mindspin.. Coming from you (and after reading some of your posts) I will take that as a compliment . BB is very much a subjective "event" that is open to interpretation and what is preferable to one is not always the same to another, otherwise we'd be seeing lineups that feature clones. There is no clear answer to this question.

I never said Yates has better lines just better balance and Labrada does have better lines than Ray , Ray is structually narrow , Labrada has wider clavaciles and just as small of a waist , this is evident in the latspreads & ab-thigh , whenever Ray did these you could see his narrowness and Labrada has the better proportion of the two , you look at Ray he has heavyweigts arms and a middleweights torso , squared off quads and high calves , you don't see this with Labrada .
