Maybe you should look into it a little more. the fat guys are usually in the higher weight classes. when i compete in the 220's most of the guys have visible abs and crazy veins.
Powerlifting has added plenty of mass for people who take it seriously. my entire body has made good quality gains from it and i did nothing but bodybuilding the first 6 years i trained.
i suggest you try it and form your own opinion...many people think differently about these "fat" guys who are putting up big numbers.
