Jack,

As I told you on the phone the other night, fu%k the naysayers. Diet was off. Shit happens with every competing bodybuilder. As Chris Mason said, Ronnie Coleman had some pretty bad placings before becomig Mr O.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, analyze what went wrong and come back just that much better.

Every single person that has criticized you is nothing more than an arm chair quarter back. Funny how all of the " true competitors" on here have all gone thru what you have and have been nothing but positive.

Be well my friend and talk to you soon.

PS..Mike Arvilla...send me an email and let me know what's new and exciting.I'm in Worcester now and loving life!

Jack has passion for competing...
Just like the first place guy
Just like the last place guy
Just like me
Just like Arvilla
Just like the guys in their 50's,60's and 70's that show up at the masters nationals every year.
Its just in your blood.... you can't help it....
Oh brother.  It's just in your blood.
No, abusing drugs is in your blood, nothing more.  Let's not make widespread roid use into some gladiator battle.  Or better yet, a sport that requires actual talent.
Competing is usually a way for middle aged men to justify their drug use, not much more.  That's great that you compete, but let's keep it real.

so i guess you've never abused drugs then croatch?

when you took those steroids did you compete? no, why'd ya take the drugs then? just in your blood i suppose.

'a sport that requires actual talent.' obviously a sport that requires too much talent for you to compete in. what did you do after taking those steroids croatch?

that's right, you just weren't good enough were you? not enough talent hey croatch?

now you're all bitter and twisted about it aren't you? you feel like a complete failure so you want to anyone with 'talent' down to your level. fat chance of that...sorry, i forgot your name already.

oh btw, what are you doing on a bodybuilding site if you have no respect for bodybuilders? hmmm...

Why would Croatch's disdain for drug abusers affect his ability to respect bodybuilders?  99% of people who lift weights will never touch a steroid.

Croatch, do you respect the natural BBer sin your gym who eat, train, and sleep and never think of drugs?  And do you respect those people who compete naturally?

If the answer to both is Yes, then it's very clear that Croatch does respect BBers.  he just doesn't like drug users.  And that's his perrogative, and shouldn't matter to him being on a bodybuilding site.

croatch has admitted to taking bodybuilding drugs.

he claims to be natural now  ::) and thus feels the need to now criticise competitive bodybuilders that do.

you're right. croatch does have the perrogative to be a natural bodybuilder - power to him, whatever.

what people need to understand it is also the perrogative of a professional to do whatever the fuck he wants to do/take to enhance his performance. it is his 'perrogative'.

to say that it's in their 'blood' to take drugs is hypocritical and obtuse.

why are you obsessed with bodybuilders and drug use?

you sound real bitter and jealous.

did you go on a few cycles and get discouraged because you didnt get much better?

you said bodybuilding is a sport that requires no talent.

prepping for a show takes more hard work and dedication than any other sport...its a 24/7 thing.

have you ever competed?

i doubt it because if you did you would know that the drugs dont matter if you dont bust your ass in the gym, do all your cardio(for most guys),and suffer for 12-16 weeks or more on a strict diet.

Yeah Arvilla is starting to act like he's some seasoned pro, cause he did a local show.

I was gonna leave it alone, but being that someone else sees it too....

Jack  you keep talking about how you screwed up your carb up, that you normally don't carb load. That you know how your body responds and shouldv'e done it the way you always do.
WTF are you talking about? When's the last time you competed? 1995? So stop hiding behind "i missed my peak" like youv'e done this 25 times before.

I have done this 25 times before. You know, the more people like you post on me, the more I realize how little you actually know.

No, it's cool, I know I looked like shit. Actually, I'm over it already. I have had that happened in the past.

You can dig pics up off of dave Palumb's site from last years atlantic states, you can see how tight I was then. Problem was I was too over dieted, i can't seem to hit it perfect lately!

In fact Evan Cepreani won.
