'word' of a suspension doesn't equate to suspension until formally addressed in written document.

until lee sees that paper, f**k your suspension.

Yea thanks.  Also, on this.  Sposnors are NOT going to like this publicity that this case may generate.  This is going to be very negative and could possibly bankrupt the IFBB. They owe millions in back taxes.  And whatever else in fines could be put against them.  Legal fees alone are going to kill them.  I would think Lee could easily find an attorney to do this case either Pro Bono or on contigency.  This will defntiely make some headlines.  I wonder what will happen to Kevin Horton and Issac.  Well maybe they can start taking pictures of babies.

in all fairness....


everyone seems to be riding Chick's jock pretty hard.  I believe he was just relaying a message.  I have a feeling that Lee was going to get suspended anyways...

but I wonder how much of this was just brought all upon himself to begin with.


I do feel Bob has loyalties to the IFBB....but I don't see him personally behind Lee's suspension but some of you are acting like he is.

Chick should have used a little professionalism by notifying Lee before an internet message board. Then again maybe there is no such thing as professionalism amoung meatheads.

Lee announces things on here "out in the open" before notifying anyone.

Yeah, that tax question is still looming very large over the IFBB.  They might possibly get away with the suspension of Lee, but once the IRS starts their investigation, I predict there's no way they will escape that debt.  Canada will help with that enforcement, guaranteed.

That's why I'm thinking it's in the best interests of the NPC to just sever all ties with Montreal and form their own professional 'league'...sooner rather than later.

Forget it...just found it. An athlete cannot compete while under suspention.

That would be a huge mistake on the part of the organization.

By announcing his suspension, accepting his notice to appeal, and then allowing him to compete in Las Vegas pending the outcome of his fair hearing, the IFBB would be acting in good faith. 

Announcing his suspension and then deliberately delaying the fair hearing until after his next scheduled competition will leave the IFBB with a black eye. 

If the IFBB does the right thing here, everyone wins. 

It's up to them.

If Lee decides to take things to court he'll more than likely win.

Anyone remember the Jay Cutler fiasco in 2001? The IFBB hid their tails behind their legs when Cutler threatened to sue them.
