HYPOCRISY AT ITS BEST , first and foremost the IFBB should be looking at fixing its policy's and hypocritical existence from the ground up , one can not build a pyramid from the pinnacle down !!
Amature IFBB bodybuilding is a farce(no disrespect to the competitor's), it is meant to be all drug tested to IOC standards and yet this rule ( sanctioned by Ben in his pathetic effort to get BB into the Olympics)is not even enforced by 80% of its affiliated country's, all the affiliations are rife with hypocrisy and corruption ,
Heres the ruling from the NZFBB on competitors competting for other federations , I was at the meeting where this ruling was changed , the thought process behind the ruling (based on legal advice at the time)was that the NZFBB was losing to many athletes to NABBA due to there Drug testing regime so it was decided that they legally couldn't stop any one from entering there shows due to "Discrimination Laws" so it was decided that they might as well get double revenue from these athletes by having them have to rejoin the NZFBB if they competed with somelse , so in effect they decided you can compete with some one else(legally) but you would just have to pay double the fees if you did !! oh it may pay to note this rule is not actively enforced ( only if a complaint is made via another athlete, usually if they don't win or place well !!)

2.4 Contestants may not belong to any other Bodybuilding Federation or Association other than that affiliated to the IFBB, which in New Zealand is the NZFBB, PO Box 5186, Wellesley Street, Auckland. Competitors automatically resign membership to the NZFBB if they enter and participate in other bodybuilding organisations. They may re-join the NZFBB by reapplying and with payment of another membership fee. They will not have to re-qualify for the NZ Nationals.
Its intresting how it can be different rules for different folks and yet it is all the IFBB !!
