Are non-muscletech athletes disadvantaged?
« on: September 27, 2006, 07:27:14 AM »
With all the research going into muscletech products eg. gakic (8 years), luekic (millions of $US) and of course anator p70 are the athletes that are stuck with companies like twinlab, bsn, pinnacle etc. severely sufferring on the pro stage?

Oh yes, without such innovations how can the other guys compete.  I have seen pics of Muscletech labs in their ads - they look legit.

too funny, yeah, big ron coleman is clearly disadvantaged b/c he represents someone other than Muscletech ::)

Dude, seriously, it's all about who has the advertising dollars and who's willing to spend it.  The R & D and having more big name athletes in your stable helps as well.

You can almost feel the synergistic superstack power that a muscletech powered trainee exhibits.

You guys who are romanticising about Lee Priest and his truth telling would do well to remember that he split with muscletech because they were full of shit.

What?  These guys have the labs!  Have you seen the ads - they even have protein shakers in the cabinets - so they can taste the latest Low Impact, Dual Absorption, Hyper Delivery, Sugar Punch at any moment.  I think most scientific labs suggest that you eat and drink right there - on the spot.  No need to worry about chemicals or anything.  Muscletech labs are so spotless in the ads that they don't even have anything on the counters.  Who wants testing equipment getting in the way of a good photoshoot anyway.  And the stethoscope around the "scientist's" is completely necessary.  Their protein is 5647% quieter than the competitors - you need a stethoscope to even know it's there.

I think some people are missing the sarcasm (at least I hope the first post was sarcasm).

I fully agree, not many people knew that. Everyone always wondered about the stethoscope, but didnt know why or what it was there for.
Now the secret is out! Stealth Protein!

And Priest didnt split with them because of the product, in fact, I heard he decants the Twinlab containers, and fills them with Muscletech powder/tabs...

There we go, now everybody knows.
