Lol, Matt the reason mainstream America is not enamored with bodybuilding is because of the drug use. Ask the average person on the street what's the first thing that comes to mind when you say "competitive bodybuilder" and the reply is steroids. The ONLY way to get bodybuilding to be accepted to future America is to have it as a course in highschool. No drugs just good old sound nutrition classes and basic training. Highschool kids want to be fit and well built whether it's a guy or a girl, and maybe this will give some overweight or obese students a chance to learn how to live a better lifestyle.
When I was in junior highschool, it was a pre-requisite to take a weight lifting class and even a physical fitness test. You don't see that anymore and the parents of these lazy ass kids are complaining to the schools that their children should not have to be subjected to physical challenges for fear of injury or psychological stress.
