18 IFBB Pro Bikini competitors will take the stage on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, California. It is going to be a great contest, with the top three to be qualified to compete at the first IFBB Bikini Olympia. In addition to this contest, there is also the NPC Tournament of Champions, which currently has more than 100 competitors. The IFBB Pro Bikini competitors slated to appear include: 1. 2010 proved to be a very good year for some competitors that have been waiting to get their pro card for a whie. At the 2010 North American’s, 13 pro cards were given out, including 4 to the men. Congratulations to Lee Banks for winning the overall, and to Abbas Khatami for getting the second pro card of the open classes. PD Devers won his class in the Open, but also won the overall in the Masters 40+ to take home a pro card, while Chris Filipelli took the pro card for his win in the Master’s 50+ In Women’s Bodybuilding, Monique Jones beat 30 competitors to take the overall title, while Claire O’Connel won the Masters 35+ Overall, and also the Lightweight in the open to claim the second pro card. Congratulations. In Fitness, Sherry Boudrea beat 13 competitors to win her IFBB pro card! In Figure, Kaylen McKenzie won the Figure C Class and the Overall Open and received her invitation for the IFBB Pro Card! Second pro card given was to Meredith Berthelson, who won the Figure D Class. Tiffany Procopio won the Figure B Class, but received her pro card by winning the Masters 35 Overall!…

After prejudging was over, it looks likes in the Men’s Open, Essa Obiad, Cedrick McMillan and Bill Wilmore are in the lead for the top three spots. This is the NPC contest that all strive to compete in – the big daddy in the Western United States – where the best come to compete, and where 18 IFBB Pro cards will be earned by the end of Saturday night. Over 500 competitors are gathering in Las Vegas on July 23-24th, and we are excited to be there to check it out, as we will be putting up contest pictures on bodybuilding.com. What a month Jerome Ferguson has been having – probably the most memorable month of his life. In the beginning of the month, Jerome got married to the beautiful Marnie Holley, and at the end of the month (ok, one week before), Jerome finally got what he always wanted – that elusive IFBB Pro card! Jerome, on July 24th, competed at the 2010 NPC Master’s National Men’s Championships in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia, and won the Super Heavyweight Class and Overall, beating out 97 other competitors. The NPC Los Angeles Championships always has some great competitors, and this year was no different. The winners of the Men’s Open class included Toto Djong, Art Shahnazarian, Akeshi Toyonaga, Danny Hester, Justin Rayner, Mohsen Ghorannevis and Reginald Brantley. What an incredible contest. Lonnie Teper predicted that Ed Nunn would rule the day in Hartford, and he did, winning the Men’s Open Class over Troy Alves and Ben White. In the Mens 202lbs and Under, Jose Raymond beat an incredible looking David Henry. Also, congratulations to Dianna Dahlgreen and Candice Keene for winning in pro bikini and pro figure. This upcoming weekend is going to be an incredible weekend with some great contests all various states. The 2010 IFBB/NPC Europa Battle of Champions is going to be held in Hartford, Connecticut, and will feature 5 IFBB contests and an NPC show (IFBB competitor lists were listed a few days ago on Getbig Headlines). Ed & Betty Pariso always put on a great competition, complete with an expo. In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the 2010 NPC Teen, Collegiate and Masters National Championships (bodybuilding, figure and fitness) is going to be a huge contest, with over 430 competitors to date. This is where the best of the best in teens, collegiate and masters compete for top honors. Gary Udit is the promoter and does a tremendous job. And in the Los Angeles area, the 2010 NPC Los Angeles Championships are being held in Culver City, with some incredible competitors. This is the contest in which we see a preview to the NPC USA, which is going to be held a week later in Las Vegas. Promoter Jon Lindsay is the man behind the action at both of these shows.
